Mission Statement
"To aid the students of Oakland Academy in achieving their fullest potential by providing educational and person enrichment and by encouraging interaction of parents, teachers and the community in pursuance of these purposes."

Food Drive

Thank you for sending you non-perishable food items for the food drive.  The food drive will be benefiting the Portage Community Center and the Ecumenical Senior Center.  We would also like to send a thank you to Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety for joining forces with Oakland Academy and donating as well.

A HUGE thank you goes out to Frank and Becky Orfin for making this food drive happen. If you see Becky or Frank please let them know they have done a great job.  We will have the final count on the amount of food raised in the next newsletter, as they are not available at this time.

Meeting Dates Changed
The tentative dates for the April and May meetings have been changed.  The new dates are April 1st and May 6th.  If you have any concerns or questions please see a PTO officer. Thank you

Spring Fundraiser
The spring fundraisers were sent out last week and consist of cookie dough and Easter candy. This is our last fundraiser of the year.  Let's make this a successful fundraiser.  Please remember the last day to send in your orders will be Monday, February 25th 2008.
